Top speed of 30mph (with upgrade) .. I saw these featured on some tv program about US Special Forces...

 

This weekend's ride in Tunstall (dual slalom course) the was cut short by Pirate, who broke his hand, elbow and a couple of ribs.

Basically, Pirate got himself all lined up for a nice little jump, then at the last minute decided to hit a couple of doubles... problem is, he jumped about 7ft too long and landed on his front wheel and face.

After a short stint in Ipswich General A&E Pirate was driven home with two slings and a half-cast.

Well done Pirate, get well soon.

 

 

In preparation for snowboarding in two weeks, we thought we'd better get some excersise in.... So, we met up in Thetford forest for a session.

The day was action packed, with Pirate crashing most often and almost taking out Rob (who was laying on the ground, photographing him)... That would have been an expensive crash!!.

Here’s a short video filmed at Aston Hill last week. A couple of comedy crashes as I went down the run, however the last crash did actually hurt! (and I still have a huge black/purple bruise to prove it ;-)
